Educational disclaimer
This is clinician education
Migraine Mastery Academy is a professional education and mentorship program for licensed clinicians. Its purpose is to help prescribing clinicians think more confidently through headache and migraine presentations in their own practices, and to recognize when specialist referral is appropriate.
It is not a clinical service. It does not evaluate, diagnose or treat patients, and it is not directed to patients or the general public. Patients seeking care should contact their own clinician, or — for care in Texas — Bashir Neurology and Headache PLLC.
Not medical advice
Everything presented through Migraine Mastery Academy — live sessions, discussion, written materials, recordings and this website — is general educational content for clinicians. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for the independent professional judgment of the treating clinician.
Clinical guidance evolves, drug labeling changes, and every patient is different. Participants remain responsible for verifying current prescribing information, guidelines and applicable standards of care before acting on anything discussed.
No physician–patient relationship
Participating in Migraine Mastery Academy, contacting Dr. Ferhad Bashir through this program, or using this website does not create a physician–patient relationship between Dr. Bashir and any participant, or between Dr. Bashir and any patient of a participant.
Dr. Bashir does not evaluate, diagnose, treat or co-manage participants’ patients through this program, does not review patient records, and does not practice medicine in participants’ states by teaching in it. The treating clinician retains full clinical responsibility for every patient in their care.
Case discussion is de-identified and educational
Case-based teaching is central to the program. Cases are discussed for educational purposes only — to work through clinical reasoning, not to direct the care of an identifiable patient.
Participants must de-identify any case they bring and must not submit protected health information (PHI) or any patient-identifying detail through this website, the application form, chat, email or live sessions. Compliance with HIPAA, state privacy law and any employer or institutional policy remains the participant’s responsibility.
No continuing medical education credit
Migraine Mastery Academy is not currently accredited for, and does not offer, continuing medical education (CME) credit or any other form of continuing education credit. Participation does not confer a certification, license, board qualification or specialty designation in headache medicine or neurology.
No guaranteed outcomes
The program is designed to build practical confidence and a repeatable approach to headache and migraine care. No specific clinical, professional or financial outcome is promised or implied. Results depend on the participant, their patients and their practice setting.
Emergencies
Nothing here is intended for use in an emergency. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency in the United States should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
